Simply stated. Yes.
I wanted to write a little blog post to share with you exactly how I earned a trip for my family. I know as a skeptic, I never would’ve believed I could do something like this. I am grateful beyond words, and I want to share with you exactly how you can do the same.
How did you earn a free trip?
Sippin’ Fruity Drinks! |
I just returned from an expense paid trip on the Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise boat in the world. I was joined by over 6,000 coaches as we spent 5 days sailing through the Caribbean Seas stopping in the Bahamas and Jamaica.
So how did I get there? Simple. I made a commitment to helping at least 5 people a month throughout 2015 achieve their health and fitness goals.
I know what you’re thinking. It sounds to good to be true. Believe me- I was skeptical when I would read these types of blog posts as well. But the truth is I earned a trip because my career as a coach is about putting people first.
What were the requirements of the trip?
Throughout 2015, I accumulated success club points. Points are achieved when challengers commit to participating in a challenge group with the use of a challenge pack. As I earned Success Club points throughout the year, I was able to turn them into Cruise Dollars for the trip. I was able to upgrade my room to a balcony view and still have $2,100 onboard credit for excursions and other perks! ( I paid a $300 deposit which covered Mike and I, and each child was $175. )

What did you do on the trip?
The boat set sail on March 12th from Ft. Lauderdale. The first day, we spent exploring the ship with the kiddos. We ran into quite a few Dreamworks characters! The boys were THRILLED.

That evening I attended the Elite Party with my coach ,Taylor. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and of course the celebrity trainers! Later that evening, I was asked to a small dinner event with my corportate mentor, Jeff Matthewson We headed to Chop Steak House- 5 Star Dining for sure. Not to mention the dessert was incredible!

We left the port and sailed to Nassau, Bahamas. This was Dom’s first trip to the beach! Our taxi driver took us to a small private beach off the port where the water was calm. We spent the day with friends watching the kids play in the sand. The water was crystal clear. The weather was perfect- a slight breeze without the humidity. Dom even took a two hour nap under the blanket. It was by far a highlight of the trip!
First time at the beach! |
Seriously. Is this our job? |
Love this man! |
We spent the next day sailing through the beautiful calm seas enjoying drinks by the kiddie pool and enjoying amazing meals fit for royalty. When we docked in Jamaica, Mike and I decided to forgo the excursions for a quiet day on the boat. Again, D napped throughout the afternoon while the rest of the family soaked up the sunshine.

Mike and I decided to extend the vacation with the boys by taking a drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando where we spent a day at Legoland and one day at the Magic Kingdom. We had the pleasure of staying at the Orlando World Marriott. I had a chance to catch up on some emails while the kiddos hung at the pool with the dads!
Disneyland with our babies! |
Extend the Vacation? Sure. Why not! |
Legoland in all it’s Glory! |
What were the workouts like?
Each morning you had a choice of three different workout to start the day with! The workouts took place on the top deck, and started before the sun would rise. Each trainer turned up the heat with their workouts! There was a ton of space to spread out. I have to tell you the workouts were TOUGH! Lots of leg work, plank work, and push-ups! Burning off those fruity drinks for sure!
There was a track around the ship and a gym if you wanted to workout! Not to mention, rock climbing, zip line, arcade, mini golf and a board walk with carousel and evening shows and daily movies for the kiddos. I LOVED the rock climbing experience (clearly!). The kids LOVED the carousel!
