Protein Balls: Packing a Punch and Cutting the Cravings

protein ball recipe; power protein ballsMike and Nick love this recipe!!!!!  I don’t know about you but at the end of the night sometimes I crave something a little sweet, salty, and crunchy.  This little power ball packs the punch.  It’s delicious but guilt free (that is if you can stop yourself from eating the whole batch)!

Ingredients
1 cup of natural smooth peanut or almond butter
1/4 cup of honey
1 scoop of chocolate protein
3/4 cup quick cooking oats
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

Directions
1. Combine peanut butter, protein, oats and sunflower seeds in a medium bowl.
2. Shape mixture into 24 walnut sized balss; place in airtight container.
3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.  Store in freezer.

I  usually double this batch because even though a serving is 2 protein balls, it is really hard to eat just two. Need another sweet and salty mix?  Check out Clean Caramel Popcorn or the other clean recipes, here!

Enjoy!
